Temperatures were in the sweet spot of 45 degrees to 95 degrees most of the season. This enabled the fruit to ripen slowly on the vines maximizing the concentrations of flavor in the berries while delivering optimum sugar and acid concentration. 100% Cabernet Franc produced from a 3 barrel 180 gallon fermentation of grapes grown on the Steel City Cellars vineyard. Second year French Oak barrels were used for aging. This wine is a medium plus bodied wine with a deep rich color. Notes of black cherry, tobacco and star anise characterize this wine. 

A light-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with inviting aromas of dark blackberry, black cherry, and ripe plum, gracefully enhanced by subtle aging in French oak. Soft tannins and a smooth finish make this wine a fitting tribute to a year filled with love, laughter, and new beginnings. Crafted in honor of our son's wedding year, may every glass serve as a toast to a lifetime of cherished memories.
